Reopening of Lighthouse Pointe pushed back to March 25

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS — The Grand Lucayan’s Lighthouse Pointe will reopen on March 25 with a focus on domestic tourism, the property has announced in a press release.

It was originally set to reopen on February 1, along with four of its restaurants, its spa and fitness center and its convention center, according to a statement issued in December.

In a new statement issued today, property representatives did not specify what caused the delay but said Lighthouse Pointe is “delighted” to welcome guests back.
