Traditionally the Royal Bahamas Defence Force invites the staff, faculty, and students from both schools to be a part of its Annual Christmas Carol ceremony held at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR. However, due to the current state of the country, plans were revamped, and Commodore Raymond King, along with Chairperson of the RBDF Christmas Carol 2020 committee, Senior Commander Floyd Moxey delivered the presents to the schools.

Receiving the gifts were Ms. Thane Hudson, Principal of Adelaide Primary School, and Mrs. Deloris Forbes, Principal at the Gambier Primary School. In providing gifts to each of the students, Commodore King also used the opportunity to dialogue with the school leaders to discover avenues in which the organization can assist with the educational gaps that the schools are facing. The in-person visits allowed for a timely acquaint and allowed both parties to strategize a plan moving forward to aid the students in the pursuit of education during the pandemic.
