POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING TWO SHOOTING INCIDENTS

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving two shooting incidents that has left two men detained in hospital on Tuesday 3rd June 2014.

In the first incident, shortly before 4:00pm, the victim a 63 – year old male of Claridge Road was at his business establishment located in the Ridgeland Mall, when a man armed with a handgun entered and attempted to rob him. After the victim told the gunman that he had no money, the gunman shot the victim to the leg and fled on foot.

The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

In the second incident, shortly before 7:00pm, the victim a 35 – year old male of Nassau Village was sitting outside a local business establishment located on Baillou Hill Road South playing a game of dominoes with a group of males, when three men in a silver Nissan Primera vehicle pulled up armed with handguns. The victim attempted to leave, but was shot in the chest and under the arm by one of the men. The three suspects then fled on foot.

The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in serious condition.

Investigation is ongoing.
